An Explanation, In Part

I can’t wait for the time when I will get night after night after subsequent night of uninterrupted sleep.

“One of the Georges - I forget which - once said that a certain number of hours´ sleep each night - I cannot recall at the moment how many - made a man something which for the time being has slipped my memory.” ― P.G. Wodehouse, Something Fresh

When does that happen?

  1. I *yawn* totally relate.

  2. I would love to get some sleep.

  3. I have no idea when this happens. I will say it is better now that they are 8 and 5 than it was when they were as young as your two.

  4. I’m pretty sure the answer is never. Mine sleep through the night, but for some reason I tend to be up here and there when one cries out in the night. On top of that, I go to bed WAY too late to really enjoy full nights.

Once they move out, we’ll be woken up with night sweats and insomnia. So, I stand by my “never” answer.

  5. The only time I get adequate sleep is when I’m in a hotel. My tweens still have a hard time going to bed. One of them always seems to be in some kind of stage where sleep is difficult to come by and sustain. Of course when they both figure it out, I get insomnia.

  6. I just don’t know. I go to bed way too late and then have trouble waking up in the morning. But every night, I do the same thing. I know I should just go to bed earlier – but I get so much done at night.

  7. I still get alot interrupted sleep, but my kids are grown :)
Im about to start some herbal sleep remedy my friend recommended. We’ll see

  8. I really need to get to bed earlier.
I tell myself that every single night.

  9. I mean. Seriously. What were we talking about?

  10. I don’t even have kids and I don’t sleep through the night. Good luck!
